How to Get to Búzios by car
Búzios is 1 hour and 45 minute-drive from Rio de Janeiro.
After going
through the Rio-Niterói Bridge, turn the first left in the way to Rio
Bonito/Vitória/Região dos Lagos.
This is a highway.
After passing the
Rio Bonito Highway Police, turn right to Araruama/Cabo Frio/Região dos
Lagos/Búzios.
Then you are at Via Lagos, in which you must pay a toll.
After you go through all Via Lagos, turn left.
On your right, you will
see the Araruama Lagoon.
Go ahead for about 4 km until an Ipiranga
brand gas station in the São Pedro da Aldeia bifurcation.
Turn left in
the way to Macaé/Búzios.
Go ahead for 14 km, after the "Até que Enfim"
gas station, turn right until Búzios (The Búzios Portal).
If you come
from the North of the State via BR-101, enter at Rio Dourado (before
Casimiro de Abreu) in the way to Rio das Ostras. |
